Ingredients
Basic salad ingredients:
Leaves of any variety
cucumber
Tomatoes
Onion – red or spring
Peppers
Grated carrots
grated courgettes
Beetroot
Raddishes
Avocados
Extras:
Sun dried tomatoes
eggs
Cheese (avoid cows milk varieties and try goats
halumi, Roquefort….)
Chicken (marinated
grilled, drumsticks….)
Beef
Duck
Fish
Seeds and nuts – sunflower
pumpkin, chia, cashews, pine nuts
Herbs e.g. basil
coriander, mint
Dressing ingredients:
olive oil
Apple cider or white wine vinegar
garlic
Lemon juice
Balsamic
Goats Yoghurt
Humous
Instructions
Simply cut up your basic salad ingredients and add whatever extras you fancy
Mix up a quick dressing if you fancy – make a larger amount and store it in a jar or bottle in the fridge
