Oh yes it’s apple season folks and I have loads of delicious ways to use up those tree falls, so get collecting that scrumptious free food and keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks!

Ingredients
- 1 large apple
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 1 scoop good quality protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp mixed spice
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Coconut milk (if required)

Instructions
- Peel, core and slice your apple and either stew it in a pan or the microwave with a tbsp or so of water, then mash or blend it until pureed and set aside.
- Mix together the dry ingredients.
- Heat the almond butter and maple syrup in a pan and mix these into the dry ingredients along with the apple puree.
- Add the coconut milk if required to create a wet doughy mixture.
- Press the mixture into a lined tin and pop in the fridge for about 30 minutes, or until set and then slice and store in the fridge.
