If ever there was a ‘super-food’ this would be it for me, because not only does broccoli protect against liver cancer it also wards off non alcoholic fatty liver disease by reducing the uptake of fat into the liver and increasing the amount it filters out. Awesome, right?
We love broccoli in our house, it’s the kids’ favourite veg, and we don’t have to do too much to it to enjoy it on a regular basis. However, every now and again it’s good to funk it up a bit! This is a great little alternative that really only takes a few minutes to prepare.
