Recently, scientists have started to discover what Indians have know for thousands of years – that Turmeric has fantastic medicinal properties. It appears to have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-microbial properties and has been used for many years in Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic to treat a whole host of conditions. This drink also contains black pepper, which aids the digestion and absorption of the Turmeric. Not only is it good for you, it is warming, soothing and tastes good too!

Ingredients
- 2 mugs coconut milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 cm piece of ginger peeled and sliced
- 1-2 tsp honey

Instructions
- Warm the coconut milk in a pan along with the Turmeric and ginger.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Strain to remove the ginger and add the honey to taste.
- Poor into your favourite mug and enjoy!
